Welcome to Canada DanceSport ( formerly known as Canadian Amateur DanceSport Association).

Canada DanceSport (CDS) is a National Sport Federation (“NSF”) and represents “DanceSport” competitors in Canada.

CDS is the only Canadian recognized member association of the World DanceSport Federation (formerly International DanceSport Federation) . We are one of 92 National Sport Federation ("NSF") members of the World DanceSport Federation (“WDSF”), which is based in Switzerland and represents nearly 9.5 million DanceSport competitors worldwide. 68 of these Federations (including Canada) are recognized by their National Olympic Committee (NOC).

CDS consists of 5 Regional member Associations: Dancesport  Atlantic ( DAA), Dancesport Quebec ( DSQ), Ontario DanceSport ( ODS), DanceSport Alberta ( DSAB), & Dancesport British Columbia (DSBC)
